In 2018, a few friends founded this organization in Kanganpur. 03 thalassemia patients started blood transfusion in Kanganpur. Gradually this number increased. So these children started getting blood from Lahore. In the beginning, the car was used for children on rent. Then the organization brought its own ambulance. An important member of the organization, Ahmad Younis, who was struggling with this deadly disease. He wanted us to build a hospital for these children in Kanganpur. Where these children get blood and get treatment.

After the death of Ahmad Younis in September 2021, this hospital was founded on January 10, 2022 to fulfill the dream of Ahmad Younis. There are hundreds of thalassemia patients in Kasur and Okara districts Who are sent to Lahore for blood transfusion. This hospital is a great blessing for these children and hundreds of other children like them.

Ahmad Thalassemia Care Hospital is the first hospital in Pakistan which is in a backward town.

Overall, the mission of thalassemia care hospitals is to provide specialized and compassionate care to patients with thalassemia, improve their health outcomes, and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies for the disease.

Ahmad was born on December 8, 1997, in kanganpur. He was the only brother of 8 sisters. At the age of four and a half months, the first blood was drawn and this cycle continued continuously. He completed the Nazra of the Holy Qur’an with his mother at a young age. He obtained high first division in matriculation under Federal Board from Ranger Public School Kanganpur. Passed in First Division from FSC Government Higher Secondary School, Kanganpur. Passed BA in Computer with Distinction from Government College Kasur. Participated in several literary and elocution competitions and received certificates. Ahmad Younis endured a lot of suffering, undergoing blood transfusions every 15 days from four and a half months to 23 years of age.
He was a brave son of brave parents, according to Rana Muhammad Younis, there was not a single day of peace in the life of Sahib Ahmad. Ahmad suffered a lot. Ahmad’s dream was to build a hospital in Kanganpur for thalassemia patients. This hospital is the realization of Ahmad’s dream. Ahmad Younis is the real founder of Ahmad Thalassemia Care Hospital. May Allah grant Karim Ahmad Younis a high place in Jannat al-Firdous. (Ameen)
